What is Thymalin?
Thymalin, sometimes known as thymus extract, is a natural peptide isolated from the thymus which acts as an immunocorrector or immunostimulant[ii]. The peptide thymalin restores impaired immune systems by regulating the number and ratio of T- and B-lymphocytes, stimulates blood regeneration, and improves cellular metabolism.
Research shows it is also effective in muscle growth and strength, the treatment of cancer, multiple sclerosis, asthma, and depression of the immune system. There are a range of other thymalin uses which we’ll explore now.
